Zoe Café is an English school based in Wagocho, Hamamatsu. Founded in May of 2008, the school is still fairly new, however we are seeing rapid growth. Below you will find job background requirements. If you are in the job market, feel free to check back every few months, as we will update our website as soon as we recognize the need for more teachers. Also feel free to send us a résumé or set up an interview appointment. Job Requirements for Teachers

At Zoe Café, teaching is our passion and we enjoy the process of seeing our students grow. We are looking for talented teachers who have a desire to go beyond the textbook and make classes come alive. In addition, we are looking for teachers who articulate clearly, use proper English grammar, and demonstrate a strong vocabulary. We give preference to those who speak multiple languages.

Core Requirements

  • Four-year degree from an accredited University
  • Native-level fluency
  • Working visa (We sponsor visas for full-time teachers)
  • If you are currently in the USA, please ask for "Globe International Information" upon submission of your application.

Additional Recommendations
These items are not required, but we would give preference to teachers who possess some or all of them.

  • TESOL or TEFL Certification
  • Undergrad or Graduate degree in Education or English
  • Multi-lingual (Japanese and Portugese are a big plus)
  • Previous teaching experience
