Zoe Café is an English school based in Wagocho, Hamamatsu. Founded in May of 2008, the school is still very new, but we're seeing rapid growth. Below you'll find our current job opportunities. Job Requirements for Teachers
At Zoe Café, teaching is our passion and we love to see our students grow. We're looking for talented teachers who have a desire to go beyond the textbook and make classes come alive. In addition, we're looking for teachers who articulate clearly, use good English grammar, and demonstrate a strong vocabulary. We give preference to those who speak multiple languages.
Core Requirements
- Four-year degree from an accredited University
- Native-level fluency
- Working visa (for part-time and substitute teachers)
- Personal interview is required
Additional Recommendations
These items are not required, but we do give preference to teachers who possess some or all of them.
- TESOL or TEFL Certification
- Undergrad or Graduate degree in Education or English
- Multi-lingual (Japanese and Portugese are a big plus)
- Previous teaching experience
